Course Length: Class length depends on class size, most classes are completed in under 2.5 hours. Average Estimate of 1.5 - 2.5 hours to complete the full course. Usually 1:1 student-manikin ratio per class, finishing the course earlier.

The American Heart Association’s Heartsaver First Aid CPR AED course is for anyone who needs basic first aid and lifesaving skills. This instructor-led course teaches first aid, CPR, and the use of an automated external defibrillator (AED). It reflects science and education from the American Heart Association Guidelines Update for CPR and Emergency Cardiovascular Care (ECC) published in 2020. Course highlights include: Adult CPR and AED use Inflation-deflation device (pocket mask) use Injury emergency information Environmental emergency information Cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) Adult CPR technique Child and infant CPR technique Basic choking/resuscitation techniques Use of an automatic external defibrillator (AED)
