 The following skills are taught in this American Heart Association Certification course: Adult CPR, Child CPR, Infant CPR, Single-Rescuer Basic Life Support Skills—and more. Participants will learn how to use an Automated External Defibrillator (AED), as well as how to relieve choking in a variety of ages and sizes.

Those looking to attend a BLS renewal class must hold a current healthcare provider card issued via the American Heart Association.

Training takes 1-3 hours, depending on the course you take. You will receive your official AHA Provider card after you complete class. Your BLS certificate is valid for two years.
